All the ultimate spirits of Super Smash Bros. until now: rarities, affinities, special abilities, etc.

A final finale of Nintendo Direct focused on the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has introduced a brand new mode, which combines hand in hand with its revised method to include characters adored by a wide variety of new and retro video games. The new "Spirits" system replaces Trophies, which allows the company to assign customization powers to still artwork instead of trying to render 3D models of all the characters it wants to refer to.

You gain spirits by fighting in the spirit mode. They can then be used to improve your character. Spirits come in two forms: primary spirits, which usually have statistic increases, and supportive spirits, which attach to primary minds and imbue you with special skills or abilities. Spirits are classified by rarity: novice, advanced, ace and legend. They are also available in three types of power: Attack (Red), Grab (Green) and Shield (Blue), in a circle of vulnerabilities.
