Rumor has it that Amazon is launching eight new devices using Alexa at some point this year, and here are two that could be part of his arsenal.

Spotted by Pocket-Lint on Amazon UK, the first product is the Echo Sub, designed to add more strength to the configuration of your Echo speakers.

The Echo Sub carries a 6-inch woofer and can be paired wirelessly with one or two Echo devices.

With Echo Sub, you can also use two of the same Echo devices to create a left / right stereo pair, something you could not do before, even if you could group them together.

At £ 75 (US $ 96), this seems like a relatively inexpensive way to improve the sound of your Echo, if you are already invested in the Alexa ecosystem.

This could be a credible alternative to the likes of Google Home Max, HomePod and the Sonos lineup, but of course, we'd love to look at the difference in sound quality between Echo Sub and its competitors.

The other product spotted is Amazon Smart Plug, which allows you to add Alexa voice control to any electrical outlet.

The Smart Plug is listed at £ 95 (US $ 122), which is much more expensive than its competitors like the $ 34 WeMo mini, which also has the choice between Google Assistant and Nest, in addition to Alexa.

It is very likely that this is not the real price, however, since the product has been leaked. The publisher states that both products are expected to come out on October 11.

According to an internal document obtained by CNBC, we could also see a microwave, a car gadget and an amplifier. Keep your eyes open.
