Amazon now sells Apple products directly

According to Amazon's new deal with Apple, the famous online retailer is now selling some Apple products directly, and the first set of devices is available today, via MacRumeurs.

Until now, a host of Apple products have already been featured on Amazon, including Macs, MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches and even the Apple TV. (One might think that it would be forbidden to compete too closely with Amazon's Fire TV devices, much like Amazon does not store the HomePod to compete with Echo, but that's not the case.)

In particular, it lacks the iPhone, which would still be sold to Amazon as an official product sold by Apple as part of the deal.

The official Apple product pages also feature all of Apple's usual brands from its own website, as well as a custom header that directs users to other products and accessories in this category, similar to this one. that Amazon does for its own hardware alignments. Amazon's selection is also somewhat more limited than that offered by other retailers: only specific configurations or color options are available for some devices.

As part of the transaction with Amazon, only Apple resellers or authorized by Apple will be allowed to sell Apple and Beats devices via the Amazon site. Any unauthorized ad will be deleted on January 4th. This means that there may be some confusion during this change.
