(Reuters– Amazon.com chief executive Jeff Bezos said on Thursday that the company would announce a decision to build a second seat before the end of the year, and said President Donald Trump was wrong to attack the media.
Bezos privately owns the Washington Post, which is part of the media that has been the frequent target of Trump's greats.
Amazon has announced 20 finalists in North America for its planned investment of $ 5 billion and 50,000 jobs. During a speech to the Economic Club of Washington on Thursday, Bezos offered no favorites for the project.

Bezos said that he had had discussions with Trump but refused to give details. The White House did not immediately respond to the request for comment.
Trump in the spring said repeatedly without proof that parcel deliveries by the US postal service for Amazon were costing service money. He ordered a working group to study the postal service, but sources said last month that the White House had decided not to publish the report, forcing a postponement of a Senate hearing on postal reform.
