Everyone is talking about the quality of the new iPhone XS and the new XS Max, but I'm not sure they feel like after a few weeks. The fall season is filled with flagship Android versions, and many of them have the potential to beat Apple at its own game. I've talked about three of the best Android phones that will arrive later this year. year as part of my new show, Android Confidential:
Huawei Mate 20: The Huawei Mate 20 and the new P20 are already two of the best phones you can buy, but the Mate 20 could beat them both (with the iPhone XS). Rumor has it that Huawei will use a Leica triple setup on the Mate 20, an impressive set that has already given remarkable results on the P20, the current champion of Last Cam Standing. Add to that the Kirin 980 chip and a 6.9-inch screen, and you have a maximum-capacity Android phone that can beat the iPhone XS Max.
Google Pixel 3: Google Pixel 2 XL already has a camera comparable to the best phones you can buy now, and it's a year old. While the Pixel 3 XL might not be the best of the iPhone X in the looks department, it could beat it where it counts: the camera. Google does incredible things with one camera thanks to its high-end image signal processor, and rumor has it that it adds a second lens to the front of the phone. This means that selfies would be wider and sharper, and portrait selfies would be at the next level. For Instagrammers and Snapchatters, this could be worth more than a brilliant new golden color.
OnePlus 6T: OnePlus is not exactly a household name in the United States, but that could change with the 6T. On the one hand, it is expected that it will be sold at T-Mobile this year, which would be the first time a OnePlus phone is available from a major carrier. On the other hand, there is going to be a new feature: a fingerprint sensor in display. It's not a rumor, confirmed CEO Carl Pei. Thus, the OnePlus 6T will not only have premium specifications and a low price, it will have a feature that you will not find on the Note 9, the LG G7, the Pixel … or the iPhone XS to a thousand dollars.
