The revelation comes from 9to5Mac's Guilherme Rambo, arguably the world's most reliable Apple tipster, after he reveals the source of his official iPhone XS images: Apple.
In a tweet, Rambo explained: "they came from the recap section of the special event website. I used the URL pattern from the last event and guessed the device's names. Apple took them down immediately after we published. "
Yes, Apple iPhone iPad iPhone Screenshot 1 iPhone Screenshot 1 iPhone, iPad, iPod, iPhone, iPad, iPod, iPhone, iPad That is a horrible mistake, and it has significant consequences.
The most obvious is everything we know about the iPhone XS (details) and iPhone XS Max (details) is true. It also follows that the sources of this information are reliable, which unfortunately means their bad news is correct as well. And the so-called XC iPhone / iPhone XR (an image of which was left out of the recap section) has a lot more compromises than first believed.
On the flip side, fears about Apple's late iPhone price increases may be unfounded as the core source promised major price cuts. This could result in the eating of a second hat.
Ultimately, however, Apple's accidental confirmation of its new iPhone XS range is extremely positive. It means Tim Cook has been happy to reinvigorate the entire line-up for the first time since the iPhone 6 in 2014.
Maybe this is why Apple's 2019 iPhones so conservative look and limited by comparison…
