Apple has not completed the product events for 2018. Today, the company invited the media to attend an event on October 30 in Brooklyn, New York, where it is expected to see new iPad Pro tablets and possibly several updates of the Mac range. The slogan of the event is "there is more to do", and its location is a little surprising. It was reasonable to believe that Apple would re-introduce its new products at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park after the iPhone event last month.
Apple has sent a large number of unique invitation designs for the event. So there are many things to watch if you are trying to find clues or teasing about what is waiting for you.
According to rumors, the new iPad Pro would have fine glasses and a face identity, expanding for the first time the technology of your face, your face, beyond the iPhone. It was also announced that this year's iPad Pro would be upgraded from Lightning to USB-C and would be available in 11 and 12.9-inch display formats.
In October, Apple will probably announce the long-awaited successor of the MacBook Air notebook. In August, Bloomberg reported that the laptop will have thinner glasses than the Air and a high resolution Retina display. Under the 12-inch MacBook, this is probably the company's new low-cost laptop.
Bloomberg also announced the development of a new Mac Mini and the fact that Apple is targeting the next desktop computer to experienced users, application developers and customers who have used the Mini as a home theater computer.
With respect to software, Apple will likely share version details for iOS 12.1 (which supports Group FaceTime and dual SIM support) and the next watchOS update that will enable the EKG feature of the Series 4.
What else could be in store? Will the delayed AirPower charger make a later appearance than ever in time for the holidays? Is Apple ready to tease the new Mac Pro that it says will be released next year? The Verge will be at the Apple event with all the announced iPad and Mac news.
