The "shopping" announced by Apple for four days has already begun in Australia, where it is currently held Friday.
If you were hoping that Apple would hand over one of its latest products, like the iPhone XS or the redesigned MacBook Air, get ready to be disappointed.
Apple's Black Friday consists essentially of gift cards, which can only be applied to certain products. Although all discounts are quoted in Australian dollars, 9to5Mac performed conversions to determine the value of gift cards in US dollars. (We will update this story and all the information below once the shopping is officially scheduled for the United States on Friday.)
Here is the complete list of Black Friday gift card discounts on Apple's product lines in Australia:
Apple TV$ 25
iPhone: $ 50
Apple Watch: $ 50
Beats headphones: $ 50
AccueilPod: $ 50
iPad: $ 100
Mac: $ 200
Unfortunately, all these gift card offers can only be applied to older models in these product lines. So, even if you can get a $ 50 discount on an iPhone, it will only work for iPhone 7 and 8 models and their respective Plus variants. IPad gift cards can not be applied to new iPad Pro models and Apple Watch discounts do not work with the new Series 4.

The good news is that Apple TV gift cards can be used with Apple TV and Apple TV 4K TVs. You can also get gift cards for the most popular Beats headphone types, including Studio 3 Wireless, Solo 3 Wireless, PowerBeats3 and more. Apple also offers very good discounts on Mac, if you plan to use the old model MacBook Air or an iMac or iMac Pro.
But otherwise, if you were hoping to benefit from a discount on the new Mac Mini, or even on the iPhone XS or XR, it is better to look elsewhere. Fortunately, there are many stores and sites offering Black Friday discounts on Apple products.
