Apple customers in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can download a copy of their data from today.

Apple is now expanding its comprehensive data and privacy portal in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.



Apple customers in these four countries will now be able to download a copy of the data associated with Apple's Apple ID account, such as calendars, reminders, photos and documents stored in iCloud, purchase history, Game Center activity, and more. AppleCare support history.

The portal has been available since May for clients from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland to comply with the European Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR. Apple has announced that the service would be available worldwide in the coming months, starting from the current expansion.

In the meantime, Apple customers residing in a country or region not listed above can still contact Apple to request a copy of their data.

Apple promises to respond to all requests for data on the portal within seven days and sends an email to customers to inform them of the preparation of their data. Read our procedure for detailed instructions on requesting a copy of your data.

Update: The data download option does not seem to be available immediately and may take some time to deploy to all users today.
