Apple
The flagship iPhones of the next generation are about to go on sale. The new iPhone XS (details) and massive iPhone XS Max (details) and will be greeted by crowds lining the outside of every Apple Store and millions of online shoppers. But Apple has just confirmed a reason you could better save your money for the iPhone XR catchy

"Great Secret Features" and "Nasty Surprises" are my chronicles about the best features and the biggest problems behind headlines.

Apple iPhone XS (middle) is the model you should not buyApple

All this comes down to one of the most neglected features of Apple and the most important for the buyer: the battery life.

On his official specifications page, Apple says the iPhone XS will only last 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X's mediocre autonomy but look closely and you'll notice that not only are most specifications the same, but that time of conversation on the iPhone XS an hour.

How does this happen when Apple also claims that the iPhone XS A12 chipset is 50% more effective low power than the iPhone X? Now we know.

Thanks to TENAA, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (via MyDrivers) that requires all phone manufacturers to declare the capabilities of their devices, which Apple chooses not to list on its site. And what Apple has deposit for the iPhone XS reveals that the company has strangely decided to set up a smaller battery than that used in the iPhone X.

So, while the iPhone X had a battery of a disappointing capacity of 2716 mAh, the iPhone XS brings it back to 2658 mAh.

The decline in capacity becomes even more curious when a disassembly of the iPhone XS by FixjeiPhone reveals that the iPhone XS has a single battery continues, while the iPhone X had to blow two batteries side by side. The single battery should be more efficient, but you can literally see Apple cut corners and the width of the top half of the iPhone XS battery.

The iPhone XS (right) has a smaller L-shaped battery than the dual batteries of the iPhone XFixjeiPhone

Therefore, the only conclusion I can draw here is that Apple believes that the autonomy of the original iPhone X is "sufficient". But this is not an iPad where the "10 hours of use" of the company since generation 1 are really satisfying.

Instead, the stagnation of the iPhone XS seems to be a deliberate attempt to sell the much more durable iPhone XS Max, whose battery reveals TENAA is a bigger 3,174 mAh.

Needless to say, Apple will claim that space is too limited for a larger battery in the iPhone XS but Samsung has managed to install a 4000 mAh battery in Note 9 and that this device is lighter than the iPhone XS Max. ratio screen on body (83.4% against 84.4%) and headphone jack.

And here is the kick: it is not theoretical to say that Apple could do better, because thanks to TENAA, we know that it has already – with his new model the cheapest.

Apple's filing with TENAA for iPhone XR reveals 2,942 mAh. That's 9% bigger on a phone whose screen is just 5% bigger. And predictably, the battery life of the iPhone XR beats the iPhone XS. Not bad for a device that costs $ 250 less.

So while there is a lot to admire on the iPhone XSI have doubts as to whether it is supposed to be anything other than a driver for the iPhone XS Max. The irony of the situation is that most potential buyers of iPhone XS will instead turn to iPhone XR at aggressive prices …
