Apple Music now works with Android Auto

Apple has just released an update for Apple Music on Android, and the biggest novelty is that it now supports Android Auto. So, if you're an Android user but prefer Apple's music subscription service on Google Play Music or Spotify for whatever reason, you can now listen to it via Google's embedded platform. Apple started testing the feature last month.

It also means that Apple, which has its own competitors on CarPlay, somehow beat YouTube Music to add Android Auto. Not the best look for Google, but at least the company said that an optimized YouTube Music experience for the car is coming soon. And to Google's credit, it was very fast to bring Google Maps to CarPlay shortly after the release of iOS 12.

Apple did not ignore some of the features of Android; Apple Music also supports microSD card storage, which does not exist on iOS.

The latest update of Apple Music on Android also allows you to search for songs by grabbing some of the lyrics that you may be familiar with. And he brings the much improved view of the artist who came to iOS earlier this month.
