Apple claims that the iPhone XR has a "state-of-the-art camera system" with features such as Portrait mode. Users around the world use this camera to capture "breathtaking images," said Apple:
Photographers from around the world capture breathtaking images with iPhone XR, the latest addition to the iPhone family. The iPhone XR is equipped with a state-of-the-art camera system designed by Apple that allows portrait mode from a single lens, providing a sophisticated bokeh effect. Portraits look great on wide-angle lenses, even in low light conditions.
As a reminder, the iPhone XR does not have a dual camera system like the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. Instead, Apple relies on software enhancements to enable features like Portrait mode and Smart HDR. However, some features such as optical zoom and portrait mode support on non-human subjects are missing.
The photos highlighted by Apple include a variety of portrait-mode images, many with the benefits of Smart HDR and dimly lit presentations. Austin Mann and Tyler Stalman are among the featured photographers. Check out some of Apple's best iPhone XR images below and tell us what you think about it in the comments:
