Updated October 30th at 14:08 ET: An earlier version of this article indicated that watchOS 5.1 allowed the application of the electrocardiogram on Apple Watch Series 4 devices. It was fake Apple said the feature is coming this year, but it is not part of today's update. We regret the mistake.
Today, Apple has released watchOS 5.1 with support for new emoji, new surveillance surfaces and FaceTime group audio. A new dial includes a "color" dial that offers users a choice of different shades covering the entire face.
The update also supports more than 70 new emoji released with iOS 12.1, including the controversial bagel. Some minor bugs have also been fixed, such as a problem preventing some users from sending or receiving invitations on Walkie Talkie and another causing an incomplete installation of the Walkie Talkie app for some users.
As usual, you can update through your Apple Watch iPhone application.
