Apple Updates iMovie, GarageBand, iWork and Clips to Launch New Devices

Now that Apple's full line of hardware is officially available, the company has announced numerous updates for its video creation and productivity applications.

First, a new update of iMovie will allow users to connect an external display to an iPad or an iPhone, allowing screen duplication or creation. a full-screen preview of what you're editing. (Full-screen previews require an iPhone 7 or later, a sixth-generation iPad or later, or an iPad Pro 2017 or newer version.) In addition, the uncompressed 4K video output is also taken into account. charge on iPad Pro 11 IPad Pro 12.9 inches. For iMovie on the desktop, a new export option called "Prepare Facebook" has been added. It will export a video file compatible with Facebook that you can then manually download to Facebook without problem.

Clips, the Apple app for creating videos with an iPhone or iPad, added six new Selfie scenes (360-degree backgrounds), as well as filters, stickers and 17 additional soundtracks that automatically match the length of your video. These new selfie scenes will probably only work on the new iPhone, as they use TrueDepth camera sensors from the iPhone X to create enhanced landscapes for your selfies.

Other applications have also been updated: iWork's Pages now includes the ability to publish your books directly to Apple Books for download or purchase, and GarageBand now supports keyboard commands when you use a smart keyboard or Bluetooth. You can also use the Wah Stompbox pedal as well as Face Control with the Smart Guitar Tool.

The clips, iWork, iMovie and GarageBand are free and can be downloaded from the App Store and the Mac App Store.
