A few days before the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 4, this looks like.
When the "Gathering" event of Apple starts Wednesday at 10:00 am, there will be a lot of products launched.
There can be three iPhones with radically different designs And one iPad Pro all screen with face ID. Not to mention the much awaited AirPower Charge Cushion and the Apple Watch fourth generation. There may be some new MacBook, probably an entry-level model.
Now, a 9to5Mac report suggests that the new watch, probably called Apple Watch Series 4, will be more striking than ever. I've already checked the picture and you can read my thoughts here, but now there is a word about the likely screen resolution for the new watch.
According to the estimable Guilherme Rambo 9to5Mac, the larger of the two models will have a significantly improved resolution, able to display much more data.
Now, all this calculation is based on the assumption that the next watch will have the same case sizes as now, 42mm and 38mm, but that all leaks and all reports have been in the same direction, as new watches likewise only now, which means that today's webbing and webbing will remain compatible, thankfully.
Be that as it may, Rambo suggests looking at the current beta version of watchOS 5, that the resolution of the 42mm watch will increase from 312 x 390 pixels (width x height) to 384 x 480.
This does not indicate the increase in the number of PPIs that these numbers suggest, because the size of the screen will be larger, thanks to the smaller size of the frames on the screen.
If you set your Apple Watch to Torch mode, where the entire screen lights up in white light, you can clearly see how much bevel is around the screen. It will become smaller, it seems.
9to5Mac gave an example or two of what could be the new screen, such as the one above. Essentially more, but bigger, which is a good start.
But in my opinion, many faces, application menus and even the apps themselves will be optimized for the new screen, not just enlarged. Which will be better.
As the countdown of the day of the launch, the leaks may have stopped, but the anticipation is certainly felt.
