AppleInsider runs Apple's iPhone XS Max and the all-new Google Pixel 3 in a test glove to determine which of the two flagship smartphones reigns supreme. In this first installment of our special video series, we compare the A12 Bionic processor of the iPhone to the Snapdragon silicon of the Pixel 3.

iPhone XS Max vs Pixel 3

Google has chosen to power its latest Pixel smartphone with Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 845, the same chip as Samsung's Galaxy Note 9. The processor has 4GB of RAM, while an Adreno 630 graphics processor handles the 5.5-inch handset graphics.

The high-end Apple iPhone for 2018 is powered by the new Bionic A12 chip, a six-processor system with two high-performance cores and four-core efficiency running at a fast speed. 2.49 GHz clock. An integrated four-core graphics processor designed by Apple analyzes graphics data.

Starting with the Geekbench 4 processor test, the iPhone XS Max more than doubles the Pixel 3 in mono-core performance with a score of 4,816 points, against 2,393 only. The gap is not as big in multi-core, but the XS Max still easily beats Pixel 3 with a score of 11,584 against 8,312.
