Two weeks after the release of the Apple Watch Series 4, the Nike + Watch Apple hit the store shelves this week. The device has two main differences compared to the Apple Watch Series 4 aluminum watch: exclusive Nike + watch dials and a new reflective Sport Loop bracelet. Bloomberg Businessweek released this week a detailed report explaining how Chinese spy ships have been found in the servers of major US technology companies, including Apple. However, Apple vehemently denied the report, issuing some well-formulated statements and a press release titled "What Businessweek was wrong about Apple".

Apple released this week the second beta version of iOS 12.1 for developers and public testers. The update, perhaps especially for the average consumer, includes 70 new emoji. New emoji options include red hair, lobster, softball, bagel and more.

As for the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, a pair of detailed tests were unveiled this week and allowed to take a closer look at the key features. DxOMark calls the iPhone XS camera "one of the best mobile cameras" as a result of its extensive testing.

According to Consumer Reports tests, one of the most important improvements for the iPhone XS is the battery life, with an average life of the device even better than that claimed by Apple.
