As new AirPods 2 indexes appear, Xiaomi AirDots come into play

[ad_1]

Brand filings from Hong Kong and Europe indicate that Apple is updating its AirPods classifications in time for a supposed new version.

Deposits specifically include "wellness sensors" and much more for the much-anticipated updated AirPod, which the rumor factory has dubbed "AirPods 2." They also imply a likely imminent launch, which seems credible given the the current AirPods have arrived about this time in 2016.

According to MySmartPrice, the AirPods also appeared as shown for Bluetooth 5.0 certification in the Bluetooth SIG database with model numbers A2031 and A2032 in a list of AirPods products; "AirPods" has since been removed from the record, but the rest remains.

MySmartPrice also reports that Apple has renewed its trademark filings in Hong Kong and Europe, which now include:

Class 10: General welfare instruments, namely sensors, indicators, monitors, speakers and displays for health, fitness, exercise and well-being to measure, display, monitor, create reports, monitor, store and transmit biometric data, heart rate, body movements and calories burned.

Of course, this could also be wishful thinking. There were disappointment when Apple did not announce the successor of its wireless headphones in conjunction with its iPhones in september or material in october.

Xioami AirDots Youth Edition

Xiaomi

Since this launch two years ago, many have followed. The latest to have taken the wireless headset is Xiaomi with its AirDots Youth Edition, currently available in China for 199 yuan (about $ 30, £ 20 or AU $ 40) as of November 11.

Xiaomi's highly image-driven website is hesitant about machine translation, but according to GizChina (and Western numbers), we can say that they support Bluetooth 5.0 for a more stable connection and higher bandwidth. They weigh 0.1 ounce (4.2 grams) and the battery lasts four hours of continuous use or 12 hours with the charging case.

We contacted Apple and Xiaomi for comments and details, but we did not have an immediate response.

But why wait? here are the best offers headphones for the Black Friday shopping season and the best truly wireless headphones.
