Nvidia's launch strategy for its GeForce RTX graphics card series is to provide its two fastest models, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and GeForce RTX 2080, before selling the GeForce RTX 2070. The GeForce RTX 2070 will be launched retail next month. In the meantime, Asus has unveiled today its complete line of GeForce RTX 2070 cards.

You can choose from seven variants, including three with dual fan fans, three ROG Strix models with three fan cooling solutions, and a single fan board. Here are the seven models / references:

Asus does not share any details about the clock speeds on any of the cards, so we do not know what kind of overclocking the OC models will bring to the table. Nvidia's reference specifications require a base clock of 1410 MHz and a boost clock of 1620 MHz (reference) or 1710 MHz (Founders edition).

All of these cards actually occupy three slots, although they are officially classified as occupying 2.5 and 2.7 slots, depending on the model. They also have different port configurations. Here is a breakdown:

  • Dual models: 1 x USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI 2.0b, 3 x DisplayPort 1.4
  • ROG Models: 1 x USB Type-C, 2 x HDMI 2.0b, 2 x DisplayPort 1.4
  • Turbo Model: 1 x USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI 2.0b, 2 x DisplayPort 1.4

Asus said these cards would be available in the fourth quarter, which might not mean next month. No pricing information is available this time, although Nvidia's MSRP is $ 499 for the reference models and $ 599 for the Founders Edition models. From what we found at the beginning with the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and 2080, Nvidia hardware partners align their prices more closely with Founder Edition MSRPs.
