Batman: Arkham Rocksteady developer recruits for a highly anticipated AAA game

[ad_1]

Rocksteady Studios, developer of three Batman games: Arkham (Asylum, City and Knight), has kept quiet about its next run – but new job offers suggest that it may soon announce its new game.

He has posted several new job postings on his website this week, all indicating a new AAA designation. The most telling is his list for a community leader, a temporary role that will promote a "long awaited AAA title". The successful candidate should also "showcase live gameplay demonstrations".

It does not say how long the role will last, but it suggests that Rocksteady is at least preparing to announce its work. Some positions, including in the departments of art, animation, dialogue and game design, are permanent roles, while others are offered on contracts of more than 2 years .

One of them, for a QA tester, is for a two-year contract that will involve "testing all aspects of the AAA game from our studio".

Combining all this, it does not seem unreasonable to guess that we could soon hear about the upcoming Rocksteady game, and that it will be in development for at least the next two years.

It should be noted that some of the website listings were published earlier this year, rather than this week. For example, one for a senior scriptwriter was published in January with a closing date in July, but it remains inscribed.

What would you like to see with Rocksteady?

Thank you Eurogamer.
