Battlefield 5 "Firestorm" Battle Royale coming in 2019

The battle for Battlefield V will take place next March, announced DICE. An article on the official website detailed the roadmap for the post-launch and announced that the "Firestorm" mode of Battle Royale would come in March 2019.

This is the third chapter of its intended content, namely Chapter 1 (Opening) and Chapter 2 (Love at first sight). Overture will bring the tank-based Panzerstorm card, a new war story called The Last Tiger and new vehicle customization features. This comes about two weeks after the launch. Then, between January and March, Lightning Strikes will add Combined Arms and Squad Conquest.

Firestorm will support up to 64 players, divided into teams of four. It takes its name from a circle of fire that will close throughout the match, as players compete for arms and fight to become the last remaining team. It is developed by Criterion rather than by DICE. We still do not know much about Firestorm, considering that it was not part of the beta.

Battle Royale modes appear in more games recently. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Battlefield's main competitor in the military shooter genre, was launched with his own royal battle mode called Blackout.

Battlefield V will arrive on November 20, after a brief delay in October to respond to comments from the beta. If you jump early, you can get some bonus items.
