Battlefield V is a new first-person shooter set during the Second World War. The game features single-player campaign scenarios identical to those of Battlefield 1. For example, one of the main missions is centered on a lonely woman, her story and her family. The developer said that Battlefield V tells the "unpublished stories of the Second World War", but it is unclear whether there are works of fiction or interactive reenactments.
Today, EA has released the game launch trailer. Although the trailer is not new, it gives us insight into the game and the multiplayer campaign. As expected, Battlefield V offers many dramatic moments and plays. Let's hope that the final product will live up to everyone's expectations.
Unlike Battlefield 1, it seems that the goal here is to merge all forms of play – foot, vehicle and air – on each map. There seems to be a lot of environmental variety too. Let's hope that the snipers will not be surprised in this version of the game. There must be a better balance this time, especially when it comes to some load shedding with unfair advantages.
Battlefield V was to be launched earlier this year, but was postponed until November 20, 2018, a few weeks ago. The beta test was rather difficult, especially with regard to performance on Xbox One. Even the performance of the Xbox One X was not great.
