Bentley Bentayga Takes Recording As Fastest Production SUV At Pikes Peak

There is a battle within the Volkswagen Group to see who can build the fastest SUV. Porsche is fighting with the higher versions of the Cayenne, while Lamborghini is taking on the new Urus. But Bentley claimed the award and consolidated his position this weekend at Pikes Peak.

At the wheel of a Bentayga close to production, veteran Rhys Millen climbed the Colorado mountain in 10: 49.9.

"I had a great run – the car was planted all the way along and gave me the confidence I needed to push hard."

To celebrate the record race, Bentley will only offer ten copies of a special limited edition Bentayga. Each will be crafted in-house by Mulliner in either Beluga Black or Radium Green, with 22-inch two-color rims, black trim, special Pikes Peak graphics and an interior decorated with black leather and lime and Alcantara trim, with Eliade.
