Some of the biggest deals that consumers can get on Black Friday are on TV. Most of the fights that erupted in the stores offering sensational offers during the annual discount shopping day took place on television. Many retailers offer dozens of deals on televisions of all sizes. Here is an overview of some of the sales, via Consumer Reports.
Smaller TVs for $ 100 or less
Atyme 720p 32 inch: $ 79 at Fry's Electronics
The usual price of the Atyme 320GM5HD is $ 99 and savings of $ 20 will be available at Fry's Electronics stores only, not online this Friday. However, you can get what you pay for. Atyme is a newer brand and tests overall last year were in the lower half of Consumer Reports ratings.
Polaroid LED 32 inches: $ 80 to the target
Target completes its Black Friday deal with a 32-inch Polaroid LED TV last year by offering it $ 5 less this year. Target's announcement does not specify the model to which the doorbuster agreement relates, but this information may be available closer to Friday.
32 inch 720p badge: $ 90 at Best Buy
The Insignia NS-32D220NA18 agreement is one of the first sales of Best Buy. The model has generally got higher ratings than the 32-inch Atyme 320GM5HD which is among the cheapest TVs on Black Friday.
LCD / LED Sharp 720p 32 inch: $ 100 at BJ's Wholesale Club
The BJ Wholesale Club is back with its $ 100 Black Friday deal for the Sharp LC-32Q3180U. It seems that BJ's is the only channel to offer this offer.
Medium sized TVs $ 200 or less
Hisense 40 inch 1080: $ 99 at Walmart
The Hisense 40EU3000 will be available at Walmart for $ 99, a substantial savings over the $ 178 already listed.
Smart TV 43 inches Toshiba 4K UHD Fire Edition 43 inches: $ 130 at Best Buy
Best Buy's offer for the Toshiba 43LF621U19 is only in-store and is one of the largest discounts offered by Black Friday TV, as its price is normally $ 320. The set did not receive the best ratings, but the HD quality was pretty good.
