Today, Bethesda has released new images for Fallout 76. Although most of them were presented during the E3 2018, there are sections that we did not have. seen before. The gameplay of Fallout 76 is absolutely breathtaking. The game is definitely a big improvement on Fallout 4 in the technical sense. It has sixteen times the detail and you can even see the distant weather systems through the map. There are six distinct regions to explore that have their own appearance. Apart from that, creatures vary as well. For example, you may meet a giant sloth in one place and a dead mutated bat in another. Both present unique challenges and there are specific ways to eliminate them.

Unprecedented graphics, lighting and landscape technology give life to six distinct regions of West Virginia … From the Appalachian forests to the crimson stretches of cranberry bogs at night, each region offers its own risks and rewards.

Even though Fallout 76 is fully online, it is not a massively multiplayer online game. At any time, you will play with dozens of people, not thousands. This is similar to titles like Anthem and Destiny 2. However, if you do not like playing with other players, you can also experience the title by yourself. However, it is much easier if you have help, especially when it comes to collecting resources and building.

Fallout 76 is not a hardcore survival game like Ark: Survival Evolved or Conan Exiles. Todd Howard of Bethesda has called it "softcore survival" but it is unclear what that means. It seems that the focus will be primarily on completing quests rather than on resource extraction or tree cutting.
