Facebook product manager Arti Kulkarni unveiled the new ad archives report in an article in the newsroom saying it covers all announcements related to politics and issues of national importance in the USA.

The report will be updated weekly and Kulkarni said it would soon be downloadable.

The information that can be found in the report on the ad archives includes the expenses in ads and the total number of ads. They can also be searched by advertiser or keyword. Page names will be provided, as well as disclaimers and links to ads.

Facebook introduced its ad archive in May to provide information, including the campaign budget associated with specific ads and the number of people who viewed them (as well as their age, gender, and gender), as well as advertisements and political content managed by advertisers seven years after the day they run.

In September, the social network began the process of indexing news pages to determine which publishers to include in its advertising archives.

And Facebook announced last week that Ad Archive would make its debut in the UK.
