Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be the first game of the series to introduce a royal battle mode, and we now have a better overview of some game modes on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In the new trailer above, you can see some fierce fighting as the camera tackles the Blackout map, including fighting vehicles, boats and helicopters with lots of explosions. Zombies make their appearance when the area of play decreases; these are distinct from those of the extended Zombies mode included by Black Ops 4.

Players will have a chance to try Blackout themselves very soon. a private beta for Royal Battle Mode will begin on September 14 on Xbox One and PC (PS4 players arrive early September 10). To gain access, PS4 and Xbox One players will have to pre-order the game, but PC players can try Blackout even without buying the game.
We have received new information about Blackout, including the total number of players. Treyarch recently told Game Informer that the beta version would reach 80 players per game. That's less than Fortnite and the total number of PUBG players, but the developer has defended the choice, claiming that the quality of the gameplay is greater than the amount of players. The game's design director, David Vonderhaar, also said Blackout would not always work at 60 FPS (but he would not be locked at a lower pace either). Check out the Blackout card below.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th. The game also includes a handful of other modes: multiplayer mode and an extended Zombies experience. It will also feature a new addition to the game, signature weapons, which are variants of only cosmetic guns that you will unlock by taking on challenges. Black Ops 4 will not have a traditional single-player campaign; the players will instead perform solo missions that each focus on a different specialized character.
