"Call of Duty" fans had their first look at "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" and its next mode of battle, Blackout, on Thursday, with a new, illuminating trailer.
The trailer showed various views of the huge battlefields on which the soldiers will be deposited, including areas such as Rivertown, Nuketown Island, Fracking Tower, Factory and other types of terrain.
There is a wide range of lands that players can explore, including coastal forests, deserts, and items drawn from old "Call of Duty" cards. Previously, players had a first glimpse of the map of the mode, which seems quite large. Most will be familiar to longtime "Call of Duty" players, and the terrain will be connected to create a massive map on which big battles will break out on land, in the sea and in the air.
Until now, the details have been thin about what you can expect from the next noisy mode, so seeing it in action is definitely a boon to those who are interested in trying it out. The trailer is reminiscent of the frantic action of the game, with delicate graphics and a lot of carnage,
Originally announced in May during the initial revelation of "Black Ops 4", "Blackout" is the series' first foray into the genre of the Royal Battle and its own separate beta mode will begin on September 10. Check out the game mode before the full game release on October 12 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The beta will be available to anyone who has already purchased a copy of the game, with an open version for all interested players with a Battle.net account later this month.
