Like tens of millions of people around the world, I have been playing a lot of Blackout since the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It's a fun, and perhaps the most fun, game I've had with a Battle Royale title to date, but there are some aspects of it that are close to my heart.

One of the things that has troubled me the most is that moving up a gear seems just as boring as in the beta, despite the reactions Treyarch said he wanted to solve. In Blackout, you have to keep square / X to pick everything from weapons to armor through grenades and ammo, which is tedious considering all the loot of the game.

Treyarch says they've shortened the waiting time as much as possible, but if you're like me, it's still weird. But it turns out that there is an option of "unsubscription" for this system.

Go to settings, go to Blackout, and change the Keep option to pick up at the touch of a button. Then all you have to do is press Square to get what you want, which is a much faster system. I find it good, much better to use, and I wonder why this is not the case by default.

According to Treyarch, the reason this is not the fault is that if you fight in a room full of loot and you are going to reload your weapon early, you can squar and pick up something instead of reloading , since they are the same button. That's apparently the reason why this takeover system exists, which seems to me some kind of clumsy solution. Since switching to the take system, I have had no problem picking things up when I want to reload, and it seems to be such a niche situation that worth the trouble of holding pimples every time you want to loot 80 times a game is not compensated by whatever the risk of tapping, it can come with 1% of the time.

I also thought that Treyarch was going to change the Blackout ammunition pickups to become pickups, without having to press a button at all.Fortnitebut that did not happen and it is not a menu option either. Supposedly, it was because, when they tested this, everyone ended up with almost infinite ammunition whereas it was not necessary to make a conscious decision to get the ammunition that he wished. I do not quite understand this because many other games have an automatic recovery of ammunition and yet ammunition constraints are still often present (again, Fortnite), so why can not they just reduce the number of ammunition or ammunition? It looks like a strange solution for me.

Whatever it is, I think most people will be more than happy with the push of a button and the restraint setting. I bet 95% of players will not even realize you can change it. That's why I wrote this article. . Try it and let me know if it improves your Blackout experience.
