Blizzard Diablo III Eternal Collection arrives on the switch at the beginning of next month. Obviously, if you want to play online with other people, you need to sign up for Nintendo's online subscription.

Otherwise, you will not miss completely pleasure. Earlier this month, a Blizzard community official on the official game boards confirmed that the popular seasons mode would not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription:

There is some confusion about the need for the Nintendo Switch Online service compared to the next edition of Diablo III: Eternal Collection. To clarify, access to Seasons does not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. However, access to online multiplayer does it.

It was also mentioned that the Switch's Seasons mode is freely available, just like in the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

In seasons mode, you can unlock special achievements in the game and get exclusive cosmetic items such as pets, portraits, wings and pennants.

Are you happy to hear that? Will you recover Diablo III Eternal Collection when released? Tell us in the comments.
