World of WarcraftFirst major patch – Tides of revenge – is around the corner, its launch is scheduled for December 11 in North America. At the BlizzCon 2018, the Blizzard team also unveiled the second major patch of the expansion. Patch 8.2 will be called Rise of Azsharaand will send the players to the depths of the sea to catch N'zoth's favorite minion.

Queen Azshara and her Naga army resembling snakes will be the focus of 8.2. Players will navigate and find a big crack in the ocean. The champions of Azeroth will then disembark to discover that this new land mass is the famous Nazjatar, home of the Naga. Players will be able to explore the area and discover all the content that can be replayed.

At the heart of Nazjatar, players will discover the eternal palace of Azshara, place of the patch 8.2 raid. The raid – cleverly named "Azshara's Eternal Palace" – will house eight leaders that players will eliminate. Blizzard said the players would face a Naga hatchery, a completely underwater boss and Queen Azshara herself in the raid.

Rise of Azshara will also include a second, totally independent continent: the Mechagon. Mechagon is the ancient city of gnomes, where locals replace their fleshy bodies with robot parts to enhance their social status. Here, players can explore the area and discover what Blizzard calls a "mega-dungeon". This Mechagon Dungeon will contain eight bosses and will be limited to the Mythic difficulty – at least on its first outing.

8.2 also brings some other changes to World of Warcraft, like flying in Battle for Azeroth. Players will also be able to embark on new expeditions on the island and face more difficult and rewarding heroic war fronts. Gnomes and taurens will also be able to earn their own legacy armor.

After the 8.2, it seems that the 8.2.5 will bring finally the updates of the models Worgen and Goblin – what the players wait for since Draenor Warlords released in 2014. Although Blizzard did not reveal anything officially for the 8.3, the studio showed a little teaser in the last slide of their presentation that seemed to have the eye of N zoth at the Background – suggesting that players attack the old god before the end of the expansion.

Rise of Azshara will not be available until next year, probably in the spring, early April – assuming Blizzard respects the release pattern started in Legion.
