Bottle caps are no longer the main motto in Fallout 76

The plugs have been part of the Fallout Games since the release of the first title. These bottle caps had monetary value to negotiate as currency in the post-apocalypse world. Bethesda plans to change that with Fallout 76 giving players a new currency called Atoms.

This currency would allow players to make customizable game purchases. Thus, skins, outfits, haircuts, etc. in Fallout 76 would require atoms.

Fallout 76 players should perform tasks to earn enough atomic currency. In addition, players can buy Atoms to avoid progressive gains.

The revelation of the motto appeared through the official Fallout 76 FAQ:

As you play Fallout 76, you will earn a currency called Atoms by completing various game challenges and achievements. This currency can be used to purchase cosmetic customization items in play for your character, which can be earned entirely by playing gambling.

Because of this motto and the promise of free updates, many content might appear for Fallout 76. The developers were excited about letting the manipulation techniques out of the game. Microtransactions only offer cosmetic articles.

Although players can buy these items in the game, Bethesda does not provide any loot boxes. So, Fallout 76 is not going to have a predatory mechanism.

Atoms will not be buyable in the beta version of the game. Carrying this currency from beta to full game progression is not confirmed. In addition, the beta version of Fallout 76 will not be available all day, even after the release of the beta:
