Bungie responded to a notable fate 2: abandoned problems

The expansion of Forsaken has implemented a number of changes in Destiny 2, but players have started to encounter a number of notable problems. After monitoring the player's response, Bungie released a statement detailing how the development team handles four of Forsaken's biggest problems.

Perhaps the biggest problem is the resetting of the September 8th milestone. Players who have passed the weekly challenges of Gambit, Crucible, and Heroic Story after this reset do not receive high-level rewards on Tuesday. Because the Tuesday reboot is the last before the Friday raid, players who have encountered this problem may be unable or have trouble getting ready for the raid on time.

One of the other problems of Forsaken is also related to the next raid. A glitch allowed players to enter the Raid space before launching and claiming new equipment. In response, Bungie is putting in place a fix to prevent gear from appearing until the launch of the Raid. Players who have managed to enter the Raid and claim early rewards will not be penalized and their new equipment will not be removed.

Another problem that Forsaken suffers is that players are suspended from Gambit after Destiny 2 has experienced disconnection problems. The suspensions are not very long – only 15 minutes – but they are boring if they happen several times in a row.

The last problem Bungie is working on is a feat that allows players to win engrams at a fast pace. Bungie already has a fix for the problem, but it has not been implemented yet. Once updated, all players who participated in the operation will temporarily lose the ability to find more main engrams. Those who do not use the exploit will not be affected. If you have already tried the feat, you will have two to three weeks on the road where you will not be able to find Prime Engrams.

Bungie updates Destiny 2 with several fixes to fix these issues, as well as some small issues that have arisen in Forsaken. The first is live on September 11th at 9:00 am PDT / 12:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm BST. You will have five hours from the time the fix will go online to download it before Destiny manually expels you for it to be updated.

Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Our review of Forsaken is still in progress, but we are currently giving an extension of 8/10. We will update the exam after completing the raid.
