Call of Duty: The private beta of Black Ops 4 has been running on PS4 for several days and is now extended to Xbox One and PCs. Developer Treyarch continues to implement gameplay and other changes as the beta unfolds, and a new set of adjustments is now operational.
Like the detailed studio on Reddit, the Xbox One Beta and Blackout PC will start to support 80 players, just like the original PS4 version. The beta version of the PS4, meanwhile, will maintain its recent capitalization to 88 players. Treyarch says that he will continue to test different player accounts for betas in order to optimize the mode before the release of Black Ops 4 next month.
In terms of gameplay settings, Treyarch has increased the amount of damage that players suffer inside the collapsed area. In addition, the free-flying cargo plane now has more health and no bullet damage. When using the combination, players can no longer gain altitude at high speed and Treyarch has slightly increased the time required to perform a steep dive.
The developer has also implemented a number of bugfixes. The one that would cause the reappearance of several players at the same place in the staging area was solved, as well as others that could block the players on the map. In addition, the developer has solved various collision problems and the recent killcam.
On September 15th, the beta version of Blackout will extend to all PC players with a Battle.net account. Players on all platforms will be able to participate in the beta until 10:00 am, Pacific time / 1:00 pm Paris time. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 should be launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th.
