Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a little different from previous games in the series. The classic multiplayer modes of Call of Duty are back, but the game is much more focused than ever on the multiplayer mode, canceling the campaign in single player mode proposed by previous entries. In addition, there is a brand new mode called Blackout. Players accustomed to royal battle games such as Fortnite and PUBG will feel at home in this 100-player mode.
If you spend most of your time with Call of Duty games, chances are Blackout is incredibly foreign to you. After all, it's a much slower deal compared to the more frenetic speed of Call of Duty's standard multiplayer modes. If you want to defeat Blackout, you must give up many of the strategies and behaviors that have already won you in previous games. And even if you're a veteran of the Royal Battle, Black Ops 4 still has a wealth of unique mechanisms and systems you'll need to get used to.
