Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Royal battle mode, Blackout, may look a little different for players following an update. A new paralyzing enemy, the Blightfather, will join the zombies to face brave players. In addition, Treyarch has removed a remarkable weapon for the moment and the number of players is still changed.

The Blightfather, already seen in the beta version of Blackout, has made a comeback. It is in the cemetery area on the map and will certainly be a challenge for the players. However, Treyarch promises to all who will succeed in killing him will be "rewarded". You will know that he is on the lookout for a pillar of bright red light, in order to prepare you for the better. The Blightfather is here only for a limited time and will leave on November 13, 2018.

This update also temporarily removes the famous 9-Bang Blackout. The weapon has been a source of controversy since its introduction, and the withdrawal is done so that Treyarch can "evaluate its place in the game loop".

The other notable change is the number of players, which has been constantly mixed since its launch. The number of players for Solo and Duos has been limited to 88 players, while Quads is 100 players.

Black Ops 4 last update added, quite controversial, microtransactions in the form of COD points. Here are the full release notes for the most recent update:
