Chevrolet adds RST and Z71 Trail Runner models to Colorado lineup

In order to ensure that Colorado remains the second favorite pickup in this segment, Chevrolet has proposed two new special editions. Both feature Chevrolet fluid inscriptions on the grille, which is similar in design to the Colorado ZR2 Bison. Customers can specify the grille as an accessory on other trim levels, priced at $ 395, with no installation or taxes.

The Trail Runner is based on the Colorado with the Z71 off-road package, and although the name does not imply it, this special edition adds the rocker protection of the ZR2. Functional rocker protection, Goodyear Duratrac all-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels and a self-locking rear axle differential are standard.

Turning now to the Colorado RST, this model does not have a compact V8, as is the case in the Tahoe RST. As always, Chevrolet offers the mid-size pickup with no less than three engines: the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine develops 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, the 3.6-liter V6 High Feature and the four-cylinder Duramax cylinders of 2.8 liters. turbo diesel.

Based on the LT trim level, the Colorado RST adds monochrome details that complement the black molding of the belt and the side moldings. The bow tie on the tailgate is also black. The 20-inch wheels are the largest ever on Colorado, and low-gloss black sets them apart.
