Since the first full month of sales in October 2014, nearly 430,000 Chevrolet Colorado mid-size trucks have been sold. To celebrate Colorado 's fourth birthday, Chevy is launching two new Colorado 2019 special edition packages for the model year: one for the street and one for adventure.
As some had predicted, the Colorado lineup will now feature the RST option, also offered to Tahoe and Suburban vans, as well as the Silverado 1500 pickup. RST starts with the level finishing and adds a monochromatic exterior compensated by a black horizontal molding and a side molding. It will also offer a black bow tie on the tailgate, as well as the Colorado and RST badges. The RST edition also includes 20-inch class and Colorado rims, with a glossy paint for a unique look.
For the more adventurous, Chevrolet will offer the Colorado Z71 Trail Runner; it has the same underbody protection as the ZR2, large front and mid-frame aluminum protection plates, tilt protection and 17-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear DuraTrac tires (like the ZR2).
The two special editions will carry the continuous flow grille with the lettering of Chevrolet in capital letters. All colors will be available for both packages.
