The games are growing and our hard drives remain the same size. In recent years, it seems that more and more games require huge amounts of our valuable disk space, making what you keep and what you delete a choice you need to make more often.
Well, start cleaning up space, everyone, for Red Dead Redemption 2 will be here soon to take a big part of your hard drive space. Incoming at 105Gb, RDR 2 is easily one of the biggest launch download files I've ever seen. And RIP for everyone with unreliable or slow Internet, we'll see you on the second day of the launch.
We know the file size thanks to the new limited edition art box of the PlayStation 4 which includes Red Dead Redemption 2. On this same box, as indicated first by Intel Rockstar, we also see that the multiplayer consists of 2 to 32 people, which we can assume to be the Red Dead Online part of the game
PS4 exclusive
This mailbox also confirms something we were aware of – the exclusive for PlayStation 4 owners. Now, however, we also have a deadline for this – 30 days. This means that PS4 owners will receive some content 30 days in advance, before it is released on Xbox One. This is better than some exclusives that are literally exclusives, but as always, remember, console exclusives are bad and we should not support the practice.
Red Dead Redemption 2 should be released October 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is likely that it will also reach the PC, but no date has been confirmed yet.
