SINGAPORE – The local audio company Creative has launched its highly anticipated Super X-Fi amp – a USB-C audio amplifier that is supposed to recreate realistic surround sound with any pair of headphones.

Priced at $ 219, the Super X-Fi Amp will be available on www.sfxi.com from 18h4. Singapore will be the first country to start selling the amp with a global delivery scheduled for November.

To add the icing on the cake, those who order the Super X-Fi amplifier during this introductory period will receive a complimentary pair of Creative Aurvana-certified Super X-Fi certified headsets (valued at $ 99). This offer is for a limited time and within the limits of available stocks.

The Amp dongle is the first product of Creative's revolutionary Super X-Fi audio holography technology. This is the device that allowed Creative's actions to increase by 600% in March in the middle of the buzz.

But the Amp can only work with Android smartphones, Windows PCs, the Nintendo Switch and the Sony PlayStation 4. Thus, iOS users are excluded.

However, Creative will launch a Super X-Fi Air in the next quarter for iOS users or anyone who prefers a wireless headset. The Air is a pair of Bluetooth headphones with built-in Super X-Fi technology. Visit www.sfxi.com/air for more details.

To learn more about the Super X-Fi roadmap, talk to Creative's founder, Mr. Sim Wong Hoo, in this Wednesday's issue of ST Tech.
