Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a delay for Days gone.

The open world zombie shooter will give up its planned release date of February 22, 2019 about two months later, on April 26.

Here's the message from Vice President of Marketing, Sony Interactive Entertainment America, Asad Qizilbash:

We want to share a change of release date for this much anticipated Bend Studio title. We recently decided to move the output of Past days from the February crowded to April 26, 2019. While the studio is eager to see Past days in the hands of fans, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to refine Past days.

As fans of PlayStation already know, Past days is an open-world action game set in the high desert of the Pacific Northwest. Across craggy landscapes on their drifting bikes, players have to fight for resources to survive on broken roads, unpredictable weather, human faction attacks, infected wild animals and wandering freakers – a brutal world and dynamic dangerous day and night.

Past days is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4.
