"Every day we see Fortnite's popularity in the NFL, because so many of our players are passionate about gambling," said Brian Rolapp, NFL Media and Business Manager, in a statement.

Fans can buy a jersey from any of the 32 NFL teams and add a number between 1 and 99. The jersey is purchased from the Battle Royale store in the game using virtual dollars. The cost of each jersey equals about 15 dollars in real money. Each player can have up to eight NFL jerseys in his locker.

After Fortnite's popularity, Epic announced it had raised $ 1.25 billion, which would give the game producer a value of nearly $ 15 billion. Ted Leonsis, owner of the Washington Capitals and Wizards, Peter Guber, co-owner of the Golden State Warriors, and Michael Jordan, owner of Charlotte Hornets, are among the personalities who participated in the meeting.
