Demo download of World of Warcraft Classic and where to get it

Now that the launch of Battle for Azeroth has come and gone, for a long time World of Warcraft fans are hoping to hear new things about WoW Classic at BlizzCon this year. WoW Classic, for those who need a reminder, is the return of Blizzard to the old days of World of Warcraftbecause it would revisit the game in its original state (or at least something close). Given the level of enthusiasm that some unofficial servers have managed to generate over the years, it goes without saying that many people are excited to see what Blizzard does with WoW Classic.

Blizzard has already confirmed that he will have a demo of WoW Classic available for BlizzCon participants, but it is now announced that it will go further. In addition to making the demo accessible to attendees in-person, Blizzard will also grant access to virtual ticket holders. The BlizzCon Virtual Ticket costs $ 50, allows users to watch the live streams of the series and offers a number of in-game items for each of Blizzard's games.

This means, of course, that you can do the same demonstration at home. "Players will have the opportunity to explore and experience a limited quest through two classic early-stage areas – a Horde and an Alliance – and to experience the original Azeroth Reenactment directly," said Blizzard.

The demo will be posted online for virtual ticket holders shortly after the opening ceremony of BlizzCon on November 2nd. It will remain available until 8:00 am on November 8, so that virtual ticket holders have access to the demo which should be enough to play in both the Horde and Alliance zones. Keeping it available until November 8, Blizzard also ensures that people who attend the BlizzCon in person will be able to play the demo on their return home, at the end of BlizzCon on Nov. 3.

For the most part, Blizzard has maintained the development of WoW Classic under the hood and devoting most of his marketing efforts to Battle for Azeroth. Yet he shared some key details here and there, revealing recently that WoW Classic will be based on patch 1.12 – the latest patch for vanilla Sensational before his first expansion, The ardent crusade, launched. Hopefully we'll have more details on BlizzCon in a few weeks, so stay tuned.
