Destiny 2: Forsaken gets two big updates this month

With the release of Destiny 2: Abandoned last month and the upcoming expansion of the Black Armory in December, the month of October was to be relatively quiet for destiny 2. However, in her weekly blog, Bungie revealed that the game would receive two updates on quality of life over the next four weeks.

The first update – Destiny 2 2.0.4 – should be out October 16th. This patch contains potentially exciting changes and will open the seasonal festival Festival of the Lost. Starting from version 2.0.4, players will be able to track up to three chases at a time, from the item currently tracked.

Players will also be able to fly over areas lost in the universe and the game will display their name, which will greatly facilitate the search for bonuses in these locations. The new powerful weapons – including Fire and Flood, Zenobia D and Crooked Fan-4en – will be able to make their appearance in the world, which should solve the problem of Edge Transit currently encountered by the game. The damage caused by the scout rifle will also increase. in non-player versus player scenarios.

The second update, Destiny 2 2.0.5, will be published two weeks later, on October 30th. In this update, swords and fusion rifles will inflict more damage in PvE. The new exotic Malfeasance handgun will also receive increased damage. Nightfall-specific rewards will also be easier to grind because every time players finish a Nightfall game without dropping specific loot, their chances of falling will increase. It is also at this time that the sleeping simulant nerve will occur.

Patch 2.0.5 will also host some of Bungie's much needed changes announced last week for exotic drops and Masterwork cores. Beginning October 30, players will receive fewer duplicates when they win Exotics. Bungie was very clear in the preview that players will always have a chance to get duplicates, but that there will be an increased chance of receiving Fotesaken Exotics. Masterpieces are also added as rewards to some of The Spider's premiums on the tangled shoreline.

More details on these two patches will be published in the coming weeks.
