Destiny 2 Patch Notes for Update 2.0.4 Detail What's New

[ad_1]

This is a great day for Destiny 2, while Bungie releases a significant update alongside the launch of two events: Iron Banner and Festival of the Lost. As for the update, it introduces many changes and patches welcome. This is good news for rifle users, Iron Banner fans and players who are fed up with Edge Transit. Here is what's new.

As detailed in the full release notes on the Bungie website, the 2.0.4 update is an important update, although it does not introduce a lot of new features. Scout rifles, which have suffered little damage since the launch of Forsaken, have been reinforced against non-player enemies. This should, hopefully, make them more viable than they have been in recent weeks.

With Iron Banner, you will notice some important changes. Each iron banner bonus offered will bring you powerful equipment, instead of two, as was the case in September. And supplementing these bonuses should be easier – the specific requirements of each of them have been reduced, in some cases significantly. For example, Shine On only charges you to create 50 light orbs instead of 100.

Speaking of powerful hardware, a bug in which power rewards did not fall to a sufficiently high power level should be fixed. Bungie has also increased the power of the lower level powerful rewards, which, he says, "slightly increases the average power upgrade by a big drop".

The collection has been expanded and now allows you to track and retrieve more types of items. The most notable are the effects of transmat. All items that you will have used or removed since the launch of Forsaken on September 4th will already be available in the Collection. Just know how these items are added to your collection: getting a ship with a new transmat effect will not do the trick. You must actually get the transmat effect in your inventory to unlock it. In addition, the collection now houses ghosts related to events, variants of Forsaken's emblem and various other previously-worn emblems.

There are few more notorious weapons than Edge Transit in Forsaken. It is an extremely heavy release of heavy weapons, much to the chagrin of players who have received dozens. It should now drop less often, as the "world legendary pool" has added several new elements: Through Fire and Flood, Zenobia D and Crooked Fang-4fr.

A weapon that is more angry than Edge Transit is Sleeper Simulant. The previously announced launch of the machine gun in Gambit will take place on October 30th. Meanwhile, linear fusion rifles have been strengthened, with the exception of Sleeper. This could result in a more diversified assortment of linear fusion rifles.

The patch is now available in Destiny 2 and will be followed by the weekly reset and launch of Iron Banner and Festival of the Lost. Iron Banner is on sale until October 23rd, while the Halloween themed event runs until November 6th.
