Destiny 2 Release Notes: A new update fixes some bugs, but there are still many left

[ad_1]

Bungie has released the first real post-Forsaken update for Destiny 2 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Unlike the two major fixes we've encountered in recent weeks, this one (patch 2.0.2) does not introduce new features, but focuses on eliminating some persistent issues.

Many of these things involve unintended functionality centered on specific elements and classes. Problems have been solved where players could make 10 deadfall anchors with Orpheus and Moebius Quiver platforms equipped; Shards of Galanor did not give energy to players when a knife reached a distant target; Lord of Wolves would lose ammunition; and the explosive charge inflicted less damage than expected. It's just to start.

For PC drives, inconsistencies with certain skills have been corrected. Previously, your framerate could dictate the health level granted by Phoenix Dive, while explosive knives could deal less damage with framerate.

For Titan players, upgrading the new subclass, Code of the Commander, will now count attacks with the Sentinel Super, which will make this process easier. Bungie has solved problems with unsorted premiums correctly in your Pursuits tab; Lost Sector Bonuses do not register correctly when playing in a shooting team; and an incorrect goal list for the judgment fist. A number of Triumph-related bugs have also been fixed.

What is not fixed, is the accidental weekly reset that took place during the weekend, which prevented the players from receiving powerful rewards at the correct levels. In addition, the first leg of the As of Spades quest – where you are asked to invade Kill Gambit with a handgun, but instead must kill the invaders – remains broken. Regarding the operation of the Prime engrams, Bungie recommends avoiding it, as this could prevent the game from receiving others for several weeks. And the Raid chests – which the players managed to access despite the fact that the Raid was not yet available – were removed, although the material offered was not removed. These are part of the variety of known issues described on Bungie's website.
