Devil May Cry 5 Microtransactions allows us to buy orbs for upgrades

Capcom recently did a demonstration Devil May Cry 5 in camera at Tokyo Game Show 2018, offering press members a closer look at Dante. Asked how microtransactions will affect the learning process of players, knowing that they can simply buy upgrades instead of working on them, Itsuno has revealed that upgrades that are harder to use and master will be more expensive to buy.

The first thing is that the things we think people should want to get first are cheaper. So people will think, "Oh, it's not expensive, so I'm just going to buy that." But for things that will be harder to use and master, we're making it more expensive. Partly because if you save for it, you will not be able to buy so many skills, so you will have time to learn it. So you have to make the decision to go for the cheapest things or save, get what has a lot of application, but you will have to spend time learning and perfecting.

Upgrades that can be purchased with Red Orbs include travel, skills, and abilities.

Devil May Cry 5 will be released on March 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also feature a multiplayer mode, which Capcom will detail later.
