Devil May Cry 5 is not planned for next year, but you can already start to make sure your PC is ready to handle this fierce action game. The product lists for the game have been added to different digital showcases, and the Steam list shows the minimum and recommended system specifications. These are not officially Capcom, but the specificity suggests that they are the real deal.
The same batch of product listings also seems to have revealed a multiplayer game for two or three players. The three digital showcases – including Steam, Xbox and PlayStation – all had variations on the same information. Capcom, for its part, told GameSpot that it focused on delivering only one player and that it had not announced any multiplayer functionality.
Meanwhile, our time at TGS has left us worried about this latest Devil May Cry. The main one of them was the discovery of microtransactions, including the ability to upgrade your characters with real money. This will raise questions about things like character progression, so we need to proceed with caution. We will not know if microtransactions have an impact on the game itself until March 8, 2019 is released.
