Devil May Cry 5 TGS ​​trailer shows Dante's gameplay, reveals new playable character

Capcom has released a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5 at the Tokyo Game Show today, showing the Dante series in action. Dante will join Nero and a third playable character, known as the V, in the action game par excellence.

Dante will use familiar weapons – sword rebellion and Ebony and Ivory handguns – as well as a new one, the bike that splits into two white weapons. The transformation of Dante Devil Trigger is back, as you can see in the trailer above.

Nero also gets some new weapons, including the Mega Buster Devil Breaker, inspired by Mega Man. Here is an overview of this new weapon – which is exclusive to the luxury edition of DMC5 – in action:

The Mega Buster is one of the four weapons of Devil Breaker for Nero, which would be exclusive to the game's luxury edition. Others include the Sweet Surrender, a vibrator designed to "relieve tension", and the Pasta Breaker, an arm that "makes pasta easier to eat" but is not particularly useful in combat.

Devil May Cry fans will also see the return of two familiar faces in the TGS trailer: Trish and Lady. They join Dante for another attempt to kill demons.

Devil may cry 5The TGS trailer also features V, the third playable character in the game. Capcom says the new "customer" Devil May Cry speaks poetically and will be more detailed before the release date of the game on March 8, 2019.
