At some point, it is expected that the Switch lacks great games to be worn on the Nintendo handheld. Fortunately, it does not happen anytime soon. I can hardly believe I'm going to spoil my criticism by already telling you that Diablo 3: The Eternal Collection is just another great way to play a great game.

Diablo 3 was readable for the first time on PC about six years ago. Since then, it has been continually supported and refined to become one of the greatest role-playing games of all time. This does not change with the Switch version. All that has been published so far is for the pleasure of the players. The story of the initial version and the Reaper of Souls extension.

It's been a while since I publish the stories and read them again (for the first time as an assistant) is nice. For the first time, I think the whole story is entertaining and has a dark and fantastic vibe that will resonate with those who have enjoyed the recent Haloween festivities.

This is not the last of what is proposed however. Just like the other iterations of the game, the Adventure mode is there for those who are looking for loot. It's an entertaining and interesting mode in which I can constantly strive to improve my character and make him the most powerful character possible. This is very popular when playing with other players and can be done with friends or in matchmaking. The most enjoyable experience I found was with some friends on the couch, playing together.

The switch produces lower graphics quality than other platforms, but nothing makes it inapplicable. The fact that this is playable at all on a portable platform is impressive and, even if the visual effects take a hit, the framerate does not seem to falter at all. This is imperative given the fast pace of actions. Diablo III is at its best when you have a myriad of spells that all fire up, creating a fireworks attack on hordes of enemies.

This switch version uses the big changes already made to other console versions to make character management as simple as possible.

The equipment manager allows players to easily see the loot they have acquired and equipped the best.

The only other addition to the PC version is the ability to dodge. It seems so small and those who played on PC may not understand the need to do it, but it makes all the difference for the console versions due to the displacement of the characters.

The seven released classes are available from the start, so those who may have played the first time have not yet experienced the Crusader or Necromancer. Both are welcome additions and just provide more interesting ways to play. The original five are still as bright and, over the years, have been polished and slapped in different ways, though someone who has played them before will pull something new from this experience.

This version even gets the seasonal game; my favorite way to play. This is a mode in which you have a certain window to create a new character and a level as high as possible.

It is a new challenge to make the most of your time and to compete with other players to get the best character and the highest score in the standings.

Diablo 3 will always be a good game and being on the Switch is just another way to play. It's as valid as any other way and still as nice as it was for me the first day of its first PC release all these years ago. Whether it's with others or alone, it's still my favorite action-RPG and you'll need something big to knock him off his perch.
